Extended Family
The Extended Family works with the congregation to provide furniture and household items to previously homeless families and helps them move into their own home with dignity. The Extended Family partners with SHELTER, Inc. which locates their housing and the Extended Family program providing the household items.
We recently celebrated our 200th move. Take a look at this video that was created to celebrate this amazing accomplishment!

Bus Stop After-School Program
Temporarily suspended due to COVID.
The Bus Stop After School program is a community outreach ministry. Although the congregation is suburban, it is surrounded by low-income apartments in which a large number of immigrant families live. The Bus Stop program provides children with tutoring from caring adults, and regular exposure to the arts, as an expression of its commitment to share God’s love in tangible ways.
The program serves children in grades one through five two afternoons a week, Monday and Tuesday. If you would like to volunteer or get more information about this wonderful program please contact Corrie Binker, Director of Children’s Ministries at 925-934-4208 ext.104.
