May 3, 2021
Greetings in the name of Christ! It was on March 15, 2020, that we last worshipped together in our church before shutting down due to the pandemic. It is my joy to announce we will be resuming in-person worship starting on Sunday, May 16th at 10 AM!
In the many months leading up to our restart, we have been very busy ensuring that protection of our people is our utmost value in reopening. To that end, we wanted to provide some helpful information as you prepare to come back to worship:
- Please note our new worship time of 10 AM! We will open our doors at 9:30 AM to start seating people. No one will be allowed into the sanctuary before that time!
- You will be required to wear a mask during the time you are in our building. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided for you.
- Upon entering the church, our greeters will check people in. This is to provide the proper information for contact tracing purposes.
- We will enforce good physical distancing in our sanctuary. Under the current COVID restrictions, our total allowed capacity is 150. This means that our ushers will help seat you in a way that ensures proper distancing to keep all of us safe.
- There will be no Sunday School or nursery care offered. Children will sit with their families during worship. There will be child activity bags available.
- You can sing, but only with your mask on!
- We strongly urge to you to continue your donations to our church through our online giving page or by mailing them. We will provide an offering plate in our narthex after the service.
- We will continue to offer the option of viewing our service through livestream.
- There will be no coffee hour after church. We will continue our virtual coffee hour starting at 11:15 AM each Sunday.
We hope to see you on May 16th! God bless you all!
